Betsy Fein: Hi, I am Betsy Fein with Clutterbusters and today we are going to be talking about how to organize your kids room. So in this segment, we are going to talk about what to keep, what to donate, what to trash and what to sell. So we are going to be sorting. So the first step you want to do is take a before picture. As you see we have our work cutout for us today, we want to make sure that we can see all of our progress that we have made today. So, lets take our before picture.

We have got a lot, we have to do today. Are you ready to get started with everything? Okay. Well the first thing we need to do is take everything out of the drawers and on the counters, so that we would really know what we have. This is kind of the fun part and also its kind of the messier part. So lets get started and start putting everything out of the drawers. Okay, so we have taken everything out of this drawers and put it in this pile. Can you believe how much in the dressing?

Female Speaker: I know.

Betsy Fein: Oh my God, it's a lot but do not be frightened, everything is fine, we are going to have start sorting it out. We are going to put it into different piles. I have four different boxes, and we are going to decide what we are going to sell, what to keep and what to trash and what to donate. Now, lets jump in and get going.

Okay, so what we have done is we have sorted through that whole pile and now we are left with still these three bins and now what we are going to do is we are going to take these bins, take it away from the room and into the keep pile, we are going to start categorizing items. We are going to put all the shirts together, all the pants together, all the shorts together and so forth.

So, Natalie(ph) can you please take the boxes and take it in the other room and then we can get started with this pile.

Female Speaker: Okay, sure.

Betsy Fein: Okay, what we have done is we have sorted or keep items into different categories, so there is a T-shirt drawer which is going to take up two drawers, there is a shorts, there is pajamas, we have a sweater pile and then we also have a pants piles. And the reason we have put it into these piles is we have decided to put all these clothes into this drawer here. There are six drawers and so that is why we have the specific piles because each pile is going to go into one of the drawers. Okay the next step what we are going to is we are going to fold the clothes because we are going to be putting them into the drawers. So what pile do you want to do Natalie?

Female Speaker: Socks.

Betsy Fein: Okay. Okay, so what we have done is we have sorted all the items and we folded it and put it back into the drawers, and the last step is we are going to take our after picture. Can you believe how great it look?

Female Speaker: I know.

Betsy Fein: It is amazing, so I am going to take an after photo, you can stay here and smile because you are so excited of your new cleaned room. Wow, do you believe it. And in our next segment we are going to be talking about all the unique items you can use while organizing your kids rooms.
