John Given: Hi! My name is Astonishing John; I am from San Diego, California. I am a professional magician. And I am going to teach you how to do some fun magic tricks. I have been doing this for over 20 years and these are some of the most fun, most impressive magic tricks that I have run across in my 20 years. The first one today is called the fork and knife metamorphosis. Now we have all seen big stage illusions as a metamorphosis, this is a small one and it's very cool. We start with a fork and a napkin. Opening it up for you here. We take the fork which is very solid hard metal, put it on a napkin and roll it together like this. All rolled up, all I do is make a magical pass, snap my fingers, open it up and it's changed from a fork to a knife.

Would you like to learn how to do that? First, you need a fork, a knife, and a napkin. Take the napkin, fold it in half, drop the knife right into the fold here. It's really impossible to see, you can fold the napkin up anyway you want. Get ready to do the magic. Then all you need to do is take the fork, show that it is a fork, very solid, sharp little tines on the fork, something that people can remember that it's a fork. And you open up the napkin. Drop the fork right on the napkin, say I am going to fold it up and make it metamorphosis and make a change. It's all rolled up now. We bring it back. Now the last thing you do is this final roll. This final roll, that's the tip come over. Once the tip comes over, you bring it this way and you do the magical pass. You can do the magical pass just before once the tip goes over, it's there. Magical pass, snap your fingers, grab the ends, when you pull it instead of the fork you see the knife. Bring out the knife, fork is gone. We have got the knife. Grab the napkin right here with the fork. Toss it aside, you are done. You have just done a miracle and believe me when they see you do this. They are going to wonder what else you can do.

Stay tuned for the next clip. It's called the stir stick mystery and it's a good one.
