Steve Coe: Hello! My name is Steve Coe and I work for the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality in Richmond, Virginia. Today's video is how to recycle. We will be talking about recycling basics, what is recycling, why is it important, recycling management, what type of recycling options you may have where you live and work, recycling in the home and the office, how to do that, setup, collection systems and work with employees to make it work, and finally, how to recycle some specialty equipment like electronics, used oil etcetera.

I've worked in recycling for over 20 years. I worked with local governments, citizens, and businesses to be sure they know how to recycle. Recycling is one of the important things that US citizens can do to make the world a better place and protect the environment. So now our first topic is recycling basics. So let's get started.
