Tadpole Dreams is a lighthearted and interactive program designed to reinforce and teach civility and common courtesy to elementary and middle- school aged children. The program combines a child friendly good manners handbook and a curriculum containing more than 50 games, crafts, and activities designed to complement each lesson.

Designed by a middle school educator, each of the ten sections contains dozens of fun and engaging lessons for you to use. You can pick and choose the lessons you want to use. There are enough lessons in each of the ten sections to last for an entire year of weekly etiquette classes, or you can choose one or two lessons from each session to custom design an action packed week of dynamic etiquette lessons!

Each section will give you a list of supplies needed for the interactive lessons, and easy to follow lesson plans and instructional guides. In addition to the engaging games and interactive lessons, there are worksheets that can be copied for use in the classes. Everything you need to know is included in the curriculum.

Peggy Turnblacer: Hello! My name is Peggy Turnblacer and I've been teaching middle school for 17 years and I am currently the English Department Chair of the large middle school and one thing I've learned in the classroom through the years is that having a child with good manners is a pleasure, because I know that, that child will have good relationships with their parents, their peers and their teachers.

Today we are going to show you how you can teach your child some good manners lessons on eight topics. I am going to show you some basic techniques you can use to teach proper introductions, polite conversation and how to speak to adults, setting the table, sitting at the table, awkward movements at the table, thank you notes, host and guest skills and telephone manners.

Before we begin, let me tell you a little bit our program, the Tadpole Dreams Good Manners Program. My good friend and business partner Denise Rosson and I designed this program and we have used it in many different ways. We are also in over 42 states. The Tadpole Dreams Good Manners Program is also used by Church Groups and after school programs and summer camps. We have had so much fun with this program through the years and one thing we can all agree on, nice manners say nice child. So let's get started.
