Kristy Kalnitzky: Hi! I am Kristy with Duck Brand Duct Tape. Today, I am showing you how to make crafts using duct tape. Now I am going to show you how to make a luggage tag using duct tape. For this project, you will need your favorite color duct tape, preferably, something bright so you can see your tag at the airport, a hole punch or a grommet maker and scissors, as well as a pen to be able to write your information on there. First step is to tear a few pieces of duct tape out to your desired length. I am going to make mine about three or four inches long. Rip about three of them at the same length and as you lay it down sticky side up, overlap the sides a little bit so you start to create a duct tape piece of cloth. Once you have it about the size that you wanted, rip equal pieces of duct tape to place over the cloth that you already created. So you have your material prepared and from here I am going to take the scissors and just cut a rectangle out to the shape I want. You can decorate anyway you want, add a couple of different layers of duct tape on here if you want, add stickers, cut out pictures with duct tape using an X-Acto knife and a cutting board like my aeroplane sample here with the clouds, or keep it simple and take your hole punch and your cut out luggage tag, and you can use a piece of rope or twine or even create another piece of duct tape -- for rope. And to do that, take one strip of duct tape, rip it or cut it in half like this and I am going to fold it over a few times, so it would fit through there.

Once half way, so the sticky side is still showing and another way with the half and feed it through the hole punch and if you don't have a hole punch or don't want to cut a hole, you can also just tape the piece of duct tape down with the string or with your duct tape rope and from here, write down your contact information and attach it to your luggage and that's how you make a duct tape luggage tag.
