Aisha Alves: Hi, I am Aisha with Picture Perfect Makeup, and were here at PRatPartners Salon in Washington DC. What were going to do next is groom the brow. Now, brow grooming is the step that a lot of people dont think about, but its really important to help open the eye, and to overall give a framed look to the face.

What I am going to use is the clear brow gel or wax depending on your preference, and a brush. This is great for guys because that has absolutely no color. All its going to do is hold the brows in place, so you dont have any unruly strands going all over the place.

What youre going to do is just brush it through following the natural curve of the brow. Guys with naturally thick eyebrows can really benefit from this, and thats done.

What were going to do next is apply a little bit of translucent powder. This is a great trick for guys because its completely transparent, you dont even know its there, and it will also take away any excess shine from the face. Theres a lot of different ways that you can do this. I like to use a buff puff because what this will do is just pick up a very light amount of powder and you can really press it into the skin. Make sure you use a powder that has no color in it. That way you get the most natural look on the skin. I am just going to apply this in the areas that tend to be the most shining and like I said thats in the T zone, right across the forehead and down the center of the face.

And you see how that gives him a nice fresher look, but it doesnt look like makeup thats the effect that youre going for. Now, if you want to go the extra mile and just get a little bit more of a healthy glow to the skin, a really quick trick to do this is by using a powder bronzer.

So, what youre going to do is take a big brush and a powder bronzer, and just very lightly puff it on the skin. You dont want to go allover because then that will give a little bit more of an artificial look, to keep it the most natural, you are just going to do it on the areas where the sun would normally hit your skin. So, again down the nose and a little bit on the cheeks and thats it. Throw on some chapStick and you are ready to go. Youre going to look great for stage, if youre going to be taking pictures or a special occasion you look polished and clean and completely natural.
