Kristen Sykora: Hi! I am Kristen Sykora, massage therapist and member of the AMTA. Today I am here to help you get the most out of your next massage. Right now, I am going to discuss the benefits of massage therapy with you. Massage therapy has been shown to help a variety of conditions. The range of benefits in receiving massage are broad. It can enhance your immune system, have a good sleep, decrease blood pressure, decrease migraine headaches and of course decrease your level of stress. In addition it has been found to decrease the amount of back pain someone is experiencing, alleviate symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and enhances the growth and development of premature infants. Those are the benefits of massage therapy to name a few. I hope you will find this information valuable and it will help you to be more comfortable at your next massage therapy appointments.
