Laura Decarlo: Hi! My name is Laura Decarlo. I am a certified interview coach who has created and taught expert interview and salary negotiation plans and strategies, which are successfully used by job seekers, career coaches, and universities in six countries. Welcome to the subject of interviewing! I am going to go to be sharing ways with you that you can take control of your interview planning and preparation, so that you can play to win the job offer. I will review insider secrets on creating answer that create a powerful visual impact with the employer, tools you can create and bring to the interview, that will give you the edge on your competition; questions to ask, what to expect in your job interview, and an easy way that you can add as much as $35,000 to your next salary offer. In order to prepare for your interview, you'll need at minimum, a notebook or a pad of paper for creating answers and access to the internet for researching employer companies. You may also want to recruit a friend, or a family member to help you practice your answers, or you could use a video tape to film your practice so that you can then view it and evaluate your body language to make sure you are making the best impression possible.
You might also need copies of your employment records a three-ring binder and plastic pages, should you decide to create an employment portfolio to take to your interviews. Before we get started, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
