, how you can identify a potential termite problem, key tips to preventing these pests from taking a bite out of your home, and how to select a pest professional, if you should face a termite issue. This video series is focused upon prevention measures. With that said, if you suspect a termite infestation, it's important to contact a pest professional immediately to address the problem. For the most effective treatment, but also for safety, termites should not be handled on one's own. As you will learn, the biology and habits of these particular pests make the expert pest control necessary to effective pest control. Before we begin, let me tell you a little bit about the NPMA. The NPMA is a national non-profit organization located in Fairfax, Virginia with more than 6,000 member companies nationwide. It was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry's commitment to the protection of public health, food, and property.
