Hi! I am Susan Harris and I've been talking about sustainable gardening. In a nutshell, that's a kind of garden that is for busy people who also want to do something positive for the environment and this kind of garden does that with the use of large plants that filter the air. Large plants are great to filtering your rainwater and especially if you have a mixture of different plants they are great for the birds and the bees. So, this kind of garden is a big plus for Mother Nature. For more information about this kind of gardening and some great plants that you might try look at the web. There is great information on the web. I also always recommend gardening magazines and books which you could take out from your library in quantity and may be most important of all look around your neighborhood at plants you like, at the designs you like and go on garden tours if there are any in your area because they are great source of inspiration but most importantly just get started. You don't have to worry about knowing what perfect spot to put every single plant because believe me they can all be moved. I have moved most of mine several times. So, just get started and enjoy your sustainable garden.
