Paula Ross: Hi! I am Paula back again from Andy's Parties, here just to tell you how to put it all together. We've already talked about selecting a theme and a venue and developing a guest list, and now, we just need to wrap it all up. So, how do you put it altogether to have a great party? First thing to think about is when your invitations go out. In our experience, its best to make sure that your invitations go to your guests three to four weeks in advance, and you really want to look at the calendar, and look at any school functions that are being planned or any holidays that are coming up. Make sure there are no conflicts on your calendar, because your child is definitely going to want to make sure that all of his or her best friends are there.

You also want to plan an itinerary for the party. You want to make sure that the party flows very smoothly through all of the activities that you have planned. At Andy's Parties, we also plan an itinerary for each event and meet some tips of the trade, I guess, we use a lot of our food times to sit the kids down, and take a little break, and use that time behind the scenes to set up the next activity. So, its a really good idea to make sure that the kids arent waiting for the next thing to happen that its already set-up and ready for them to go when its time to do it.

Another thing is to make sure that your theme is coordinated throughout your entire event, from your invitations, to your supplies, to your goody bags, to your activities, and games, and your piata. So, you want to put that all together and it will make for a really great party, if its all coordinated. Last but not least, you can go to a lot of websites to help give you ideas, and research and activities and games that might be really fun for your child. Some websites that I really like are partyPOP.

com, I have a party411.

com, amazingmoms.

com, familyfun.

com, and of course, you can always visit the Andy's Parties website for some really great ideas. Then finally, you really want to make sure that whoever is running your party is very enthusiastic. Remember, that you and your child are hosting this event, whether its at your home, or another venue and so the energy of your party will really be fed through your enthusiasm. So, make sure you are having a really good time.
