Nick Marine: Hello! I am Nick Marine with Marine Plumbing Service. Today I will be showing you how to replace a lavatory faucet. Things we are going to be going over today are, remove a P-trap and pop-up drain. Turn off the water supply, removing the water supplies, removing the old faucet. Installing the new faucet. Installing the new water supplies. Installing the new pop-up, and installing the new drainage, turning on the water, and testing for leaks.
Some of the tools and miscellaneous materials you are going to need today are, a pair of mini channel locks, a regular sized channel locks, a basin wrench, a small pail or a cup to carry water, a rag, some white Teflon pipe dope and two water supply hoses.
The main safety precautions for this project are, ensuring that you turn off the water fully so you don't flood the area. Before we begin, let me tell you a little bit about myself and American Standard. I am third a generation master plumber and Georgia's first licensed green plumber.
