Nick Marine: Hello! My name is Nick Marine with Marine Plumbing Service. Today we are going to show how to replace your old toilet with new high efficient WaterSense toilet.
Right now, I am going to show you how to do is remove your water line and how to turn off your water to the toilet.
The First we are going to do is turn off the actual water. To turn off the water, you want to turn the valve to the right or clockwise. After shutting off the water, I remove the actual lid; place it at the safe place -- and actually pull down the tank lever. We want to get all the water out of this tank. So I am just kind of holding up this chain here.
Now you are not going to have anymore water, and I meant to it because the water is off .
So you would even take a rag and soak up all this with a sponge and soak up all the water that's in this tank.
Now what you want to do is at the very bottom of your supply, go ahead and remove this with your mini child locks. Normally we will have a little bucket or rag just to catch some little bit around this, because there will be little bit in that too. Then by hand I unscrew the top, which is feeding the water supply to your tank and that's ready to be removed.
So that's how you remove the water supply. Next step, we're going to show you how to remove the actual toilet.
