Jeannette Bessinger, Board Certified Holistic Health Counselor and owner of Balance for Life LLC, is a co-author of the upcoming book, Simple Food for Busy Families, author of Your Baby's Best Food, and meal and recipe designer for the Dr. Jonny Bowden’s The Healthiest Meals on Earth. A motivational speaker and health/nutrition educator, Jeannette regularly gives talks and classes to businesses, corporations, non–profits, wellness centers, hospitals, colleges and faith–based organizations with an interest in wellness and disease prevention. Jeannette has provided services in health education and prevention for individuals and groups in a wide variety of venues for fifteen years.  Creator of the Whole Life Nutrition™ approach to health improvement, she currently runs successful lifestyle change programs in both hospital and holistic settings. Jeannette acts as a lifestyle health consultant to several public and private groups and coalitions working to improve the health of schools and cities. In this video, author and nutrition educator Jeannette Bessinger takes you step by step through some basic and innovative ideas for making fast and easy breakfasts for you and your family. It is very common for many of today’s families to skip breakfast, but that can sabotage your nutritional and energetic health. This video will give you a wide variety of simple breakfasts that can be made in minutes, many of them by your children. The ideas include fruit-based “instant” breakfasts, “dressed up” toast, home-made muesli, hot cereal, a savory breakfast soup, 2 pan-based dishes (apple cheese bake and fluffy berry pan-cake), plus a couple of quick fresh juices. There’s no reason to run out the door in the morning with an empty belly!

Jennet Bessinger: Hi my name is Jennet Bessinger and my company is called Balance For Life LLC. Im a health educator and a natural nutritionist. Im the designer and lead facilitator for a Life Style Change Program based in hospital to help people improve their health. Im also the co-author and food designer for two up coming books, Whole Life Nutrition, A simple approach to nourishing Americas busy families and The Worlds Healthiest Meals for Doctor Jonny Bowden. Today Im going to give you a whole list of easy to make recepies and ideas for quick and healthy breakfast for you and your family. These are so easy that your children should be able to make most of them on their own. What you will need, you will kind of see it before you. The equipment is basic equipment from your kitchen, things like gas tank and cutting board, various knives, stirring tools, bowls things like that, and a few specialty pieces of the equipment like the blender and crock pot. For the ingredients you should be able to tap into your regular pantry and refrigerator. We will be using bread, and cheese and eggs and nuts and again few specialty things like raw oats and nut butters, meso paste, but all that you know at the beginning of each clips, specifically what things you will need for that recipe. Always remember kitchen safety, when you are working around hot stoves and knives some things like that, and if you are convenient working with your children, remember not to be leave them un-supervised in the kitchen. Okay, so I know how many people skip breakfast. We are all really busy, and my clients have 101 reasons not to eat it. But what are we going to try to do today is give you all the tools you need for you to make breakfast, a healthy habit. lets get started.
