Jonathan Crothers: Hi! My name is John Crothers with Stoner Incorporated. Today, I am going to show you how to detail your car.
First in this series, I am going to show you how to clean and polish of paint surfaces. Next, we're going to show you how to wax and seal those surfaces, and then we will go to the glass, and clean your windshield and windows. After that, we're going to detail your trim pieces as well as your tires and wheels. Then we move to under the hood, and clean your engine compartment. Finally, I'll show you how to detail your interior of your car. The tools and material required to detail your car, are some soft polishing cloths, and individual detailing products that we'll highlight in the individual chapters. Some extra sponges and brushes will help as well. I personally prefer microfiber cloths during my waxing and buffing. But some people for a 100% cotton cloths or even cotton diapers. The choice is yours. All of these products can be found, in local automotive part stores and are fairly inexpensive. Safety should always be a priority. If you use strong cleaners, always wear gloves and eye protection. Always remember to wash your hands and use products in a well ventilated area and always read the labels and warnings of the products that you are using. Before you get started, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a Research and Developing Scientist for Stoner Incorporated. We've been making carwash and detailing products, used by professionals and consumers alike for more than 30 years. Let's get started!
