Lisa Wilson is a Certified Health, Nutrition and Wellness Counselor and a Certified Fitness Trainer. She is the founder of Nourished, LLC and Parkfit, Outdoor Fitness for Women. Hi. I am Lisa Wilson, Certified Health Counselor here in Northern Virginia. We are talking about shopping for your babys first foods. So, when you are shopping for your babys first foods the thing you want to keep in mind is fresh and organic. All excellent vegetable choices over here -- I dont have Brussels sprouts; Brussels sprouts are good choice too. Cauliflower, Broccoli, Asparagus, Yams, Carrots and Squash all great choices. Over here in the fruit section your baby will enjoy fruit for time to time; melon, apple, kiwi, avocado, great choice, berries, mangoes and pears. To reach the desire consistency you are going to keep it simple. Mothers milk is of course your first choice. Second choice is your babys formula which is what I am going to use today or filtered water. Its really that simple.
