Hi. I'm Lisa Wilson, Family Health Counselor here in Northern Virginia and we are baking for baby. There are so many fun foods you can bake for baby. This is the fun part. You can do squash, carrots, asparagus; today I'm doing yams. So, you can just go ahead and pick up your yam; you are going to go ahead and poke some holes into it so they don't explode in your oven. You don't have to go real deep, just a little poke so the juices can come out. Into your glass baking dish and in oven, they're you go. You know what, you don't even have to wash these because the skins are going to come right off. This is one of the easiest things you can do. I do this for my family all the time. Here we go; into a 350 degree oven. Now, I have something that I did last night, and you know what, you can get this too. These are so easy. You can prep this a night before. All you have to do if you are making a chicken or a roast or a casserole, stick them into the oven, these are so easy. Just go ahead, open them up with your knife, peel the skin right off, its a little messy, and into the food processor. Make sure you are working with clean hands, of course, when it comes to baby's food, there you go, so easy. Potato number two, open it up, peel that skin off usually, it comes off real easily, I don't know, that was a little sticky but this one, look at that. Caramelized on one side, and that's okay, that go right in that's just going to add to the consistency, to the texture, to the flavor. I'm actually going to pull these ends right off. I'm making a mess, that's okay, and into the food processor we go. Again, we are going to take our mother's milk, go ahead, pour it in. We are just going for that beautiful desired consistency whatever age your baby is, turn it on. This is gorgeous. Look at all that beta carotene, look at that. Your baby is going to absolutely go crazy. You know what, I cook this for my family too. We all love sweet potatoes, we can't get enough. Now, that's a lot for baby of course. This is much more than one serving. Take a look at that, oh that smells great.
