Hi. I'm Lisa Wilson, Certified Health Counselor in Northern Virginia. From time to time, your baby might enjoy some prepared fruit. So, there are some fruits because of the high pectin that you are going to want to cook. Fruits that need to be cooked should include apples, pears, berries, apricots and plums. Fruits that are easy and might be eaten raw include melon, bananas, avocados, mangoes and kiwi. Today, we are going to go ahead and dive right into this avocado here. I like to keep a bowl on the counter to discard all of the skins or whatever else I need for, while I'm working with food, and these avocados pop right out of their skin. Go ahead and get into that seed, seed will slide right out, cut the top up. It will get a little messy, it's okay. Skins into the bowl, avocado right here into our mixer; one more, see you can just take your thumbs right along side of the skin. You just pop it right out, beautiful, go ahead and add a little mother's milk. Now, avocados are pretty creamy anyways ,you probably don't need a lot of milk; here we go, into place, look at that. So, if you are on the run, you have a soccer game to get you with the older ones, these are great. Takes no prep work at all, you just have to have them one hand and just slide them in, scoop some of this right on into your container. So fast and easy this is. Some people are afraid of making baby food, don't be afraid of it, it's so simple look at that and you will have the healthiest kid in town.
