The National Watermelon Promotion Board (NWPB) operates with a single objective: to increase consumer demand for watermelon through promotion, research, and educational programs.
Through publicity on television, radio, the internet, newspapers and magazines, the board showcases watermelon as a healthy, refreshing, versatile fruit. Thanks in part to board efforts, watermelon is not only for picnics anymore, but has won a regular place on consumers' shopping lists enjoyed year-round in slices or added to a wide variety of desserts, drinks and other recipes.
Anything and everything you want to know about watermelon, including a large bank of recipes, can be found at our website, www.watermelon.org.

Transcripts
Stephanie Simek: Hi! I am Stephanie Simek with the National Watermelon Promotion Board. We are going to make watermelon raspberry lemonade, right now. We will start with six cups of seedless, diced watermelon, one cup of water, one quarter cup of fresh raspberries. Put the top on our blender, set it to high and go.
Pour this into our fresh pitcher and remove the pulp. And there we have our strained watermelon juice. Now, just to this we'll add a half a cup of lemon juice, a third of a cup of sugar. Now you should put this for about an hour at least until it's chilled. You could, of course, serve it over ice. Now it has got a lovely color and texture. And here you have, watermelon raspberry lemonade.
