Suzanne Minskey: Hi, my name is Suzanne Minskey with Faces by SAM Makeup Artistry. And today I'm going to show you how to apply a fall makeup look. I am going to walk you through step by step starting from the foundation, concealer and the powder all the way through the color, the eyes, the lips, the cheeks.

The basic tools that you will need for this makeup application are foundation, concealer, two to three eye shadow colors depending on how intense you want to look. Some brow powder and some wax if you have unruly brows. Soft cheek color, a lip liner, some lipstick, and some gloss if that's your preference.

Before we get started I want to go over a couple of quick safety issues. You always want to make sure that you have clean hands and clean brushes when you are applying makeup to the face so that you don't transfer any bacteria. Also you want to be very careful about using products around the eyes because they're very sensitive.

If you're trying out any new products you want to make sure that you do a patch test on the inside of your arm first to make sure that you don't have any allergic reactions.

But before we get started let me tell you a little about my self. I've been a professional makeup artist since 2006 and I run my own makeup business faces by SAM in the Northern Virginia, Washington DC area.
