Becky Cooke: Hello! I am Becky Cooke, a High School Coordinator with Home School Legal Defense Association. Let's talk about Home Schooling High Schoolers.

Home-school high school offer teens the opportunity to distinguish and set themselves apart from other students and applicants, whether at college, in the military or in the marketplace.

There are many books and articles about home-schooling high school. Pick some to read and keep as referenced to these years. Their online resources including hslda.

org which are chock full of helpful information about high school.

In addition to support, you'll soon realize the many sources and choices of curricular you have. To help choose what is best for your teen, first layout a four year plan taking into account your teen's post high school goals. Then check college websites for their requirements of incoming freshmen applicants, especially, if your child is college bound.

With this information in hand, you can decide what courses you will teach, and which ones you'll outsource through collapse, online courses or distance learning and community college options.
