David Nance: I am David Nance, Vice President of Security Equipment Corporation. We are the company that manufactures the SABRE pepper sprays and SABRE safety products.
Today, we are here to talk to you about two SABRE products that are electronic devices. First, you have the Gatekeeper Door Alarm and second SABRE Stun Gun. We will start with Gatekeeper. Gatekeeper is a great option to prevent intruders from entering your home. What you can do is slide this device underneath a door. It prevents that door from opening inward. It works on many floor services with the adhesive bottom of this type of product.
What happens is when they attempt to enter that door, this design prevents that door from opening and also a very loud noise occurs when that door makes pressure or contact with this metal plate. So, you position it underneath the door, you put into the on position. If the door makes contact with this metal plate, a very loud noise occurs.
That noise deters the intruder and wakes you to take action, to grab your pepper spray, call 911 or, escape to safety. That's a Gatekeeper Door Alarm.
Next, we have the SABRE Stun Gun. Stun Gun is a unique product. Basically what it does is, it interrupts the message that brain sends the muscle, temporarily incapacitating your threat.
Unlike a pepper spray which protects you at a safe distance, you actually have to get up personally and touch that person in the centre mass. You may have to do that for several seconds.
Although, they can't disable your threat at a safe distance, they actually can intimidate your threat, which maybe enough allowing you to escape. For example, they make a very loud noise and an electricity jumps from probe to probe. So you want to put it into the armed position with a quick press. You hear a loud noise. It's the electricity that might be enough allowing you to escape.
When you are not using the product, be sure to take it and put it in the safe position, preventing you from stunning yourself.
