Transcripts
Chris P. Hill: Hi! I'm Chris Hill, founder of FuneralResources.
com. This video is going to discuss funeral webcasting, which is by far one of the more popular and commonly chosen funeral technologies and it's pretty easy to understand why one of the biggest challenges we face as we're busy, we have a lot of different reasons why, when a loved one passes we can't attend the funeral, and that's unfortunate.
But now there is a second option, which is fantastic. Based on today's technology where you can actually go to a website and you can either password protect this website or you can open it up to the public and somebody can actually watch the video and see the memorial service live.
They can attend live on the Internet, and that is very important to a lot of people and who can't make it, and so this is a very popular way for families to come together whether it's in person or whether it's on the Internet.
Now another thing that makes it a valuable option is if you can't be there live or watch the video live, they can be stored and archived, you can come back and watch it at a later date. You can also create a video out of it, which can be an heirloom and a keepsake, and you'll always have a video of that special service and all the things that were said and all the people that were there, and it is just a great option for families to consider when they want everybody to be there, all your family, all your friends, all your loved ones, but they just simply can't all be there and that's just the fact of the matter, and this is an excellent option.
So this will definitely help you learn more about funeral webcasting in the technology and see if it's a good fit for you and your family, and ultimately the goal is hopefully it helps you make a difficult situation a little bit easier.
