Hi. My name is Mye (ph) Do and I am here with Modern Day Spa. I have been working here for three years and here at Modern Day Spa, we offer a range of services from massage, facials, nails, and waxing. Today, I am going to be showing you how to properly wax your legs at home.

This is Vanessa (ph), our model for todays demonstration and we are going to be starting with preparing the materials, showing you how to wax properly and then the cleanup process. So, right now we are going to start with preparing the materials.

What we are going to need today is a wooden stick for applying the wax, some muslin cotton strips cut into two inches and seven inches up. We will need some cotton and a precleanse waxing and an after cooling waxing gel. The next thing I am going to show you how to apply the wax to your leg.

Now, the first thing we are going to do is apply a precleanse solution to the area that you are going to be waxing. So, you just get a little bit and then wipe the area clean, and then once youre done with that, you are going to start with the wax. Now, with your wax at home you are probably going to have to heat it up in a microwave or stove, but what you want to make sure is that it is at honey consistency that its not just being too fast or too slow. Then once you have done that, you are going to get the wax on to the stick and you are just going to get a little bit just enough to get on a thick, just wipe off the sides and then you are going to start from the bottom up, and you will apply the wax at a 45 degree angle, just like that, smooth it out, and next we are going to apply the muslin to the leg.
