Menzie Pittman: Hi! I am Menzie Pittman with the National Association of Music Merchants. In this video, we're going to talk about the benefits of how music can affect you in a positive way in the workplace.
One of the benefits of being a music maker outside the workplace is the hobby helps us focus and reduce stress in the workplace. You'll find that the relationships you build through music making transfer easily and naturally to the workplace in a positive way.
You can participate as an individual with an instrument or you can participate in a group. If you participate in a group, communication skills naturally improve. With an improved mood and relationships, the workplace receives a natural benefit. You are happier, more productive. So it's not just for kids; it's for adults too. Enjoy!
