Gary Uhl: Installing a new faucet is an easy way to upgrade the look and performance of your kitchen sink. I am Gary Uhl of American Standards. I am going to show you step by step how to do it.
To begin you will need an adjustable wrench, a basin wrench and supply lines. Go ahead and lower the faucet into position on top of the sink deck. Now, from underneath position and thread on all the mounting nuts. These go on by hand and need to be firmed up tight before you continue. For the spray holder, you will need the basin wrench to get it tight.
Next, connect the supply lines to the faucet. Then connect the supply lines to the supply stops using the adjustable wrench. If there is a side spray, now it's the time to drop in the spray and the hose from the top of the sink. Then from underneath, connect it to the hose adapter and make sure it is tight with the adjustable wrench.
Now turn on the hot and cold supplies and check all connections for leaks. Your installation is now complete. Your new kitchen faucet will make many kitchen tasks that much better.
