Kimberly Van Diepen: Hi! My name is Kimberly Van Diepen. I am a Stampin' up demonstrator. Today I am going to show you how to make this cute animal baby frame decoration for any baby shower.
Alright, so first we are going to start off with the top piece and that piece I started with real red card stock and then the soft suede card stock and apply that onto your 57 piece of real red card stock.
Now I have a piece of pattern paper and I am going to put that onto the soft suede. Now the next thing we want to do is we actually want to die cut some letters using your big shot sizzix and we are going to die-cut the letters B-A-B-Y.
Now once you have your die-cut letters cut, now we are going to attach them to the piece of card stock. You can use adhesive or dimensionals when you are applying these letters.
We are going to go ahead now and stamp the worm and you are going to stamp the worm using real red and I am just going to use a marker and we are going to stamp it. Now once you have your worm cut we are going to put some dimensionals on the back to five give it a little height.
So to do the bottom piece of the frame I am going to be stamping a dragonfly and I am going to stamp that on whisper white card stock and once you have that stamped you're also going to clean this off and then you are going to use it again to stamp it in a basic blue.
I want to give the wings some depth, so we are going to cut them out. We are going to attach it with just a little piece of adhesive so we can give those wings a little bit of left.
Lastly you're going to stamp the sentiment bugs and kisses right at the top. So after you stamp your bugs and kisses we are going to be layering these onto other pieces of card stock. We'll attach that using dimensionals and then we are going to attach this piece onto a piece of pattern paper.
The next one is the stamp snips and snails and puppy dog tails and I want to use four different inks so I get added dimension. So we are going to start off with the bashful blue and then I am just going to add my other colors going lightest to darkest and then stamp.
Now you are going to adhere the whisper white card stock onto a piece of real red cards stock and you want to do that using dimensionals. We are going to stamp the snail using two different color markers and once again we are going to stamp that on to whisper white and punch that image out.
Once you have all your pieces together, go ahead and corner round each of your corners to it will fit in your frame nice and snug. The last thing we need to do to finish our frame is just put our pieces in, place it in the back and just cut these little metal piece prongs down and there you have a beautiful animal frame baby decoration for your next baby shower.
