John Nielsen: Hi! I'm John Nielsen with AAA's approved Auto Repair. Maintaining the inside and outside of our car is really important to not only having a great looking ride, but to protect the investment we have in our car.
When we talk about the outside maintenance, simple things like washing your car at least once a week to keep road grime off of it. Keeping a good coat of wax on will protect the paint and also help it look good everyday.
When we talk about the inside of the car, simple things like having dirt or sand in the carpet can really reduce the life of that carpet. So keeping your car well back in prevents the sand and dirt from cutting the carpet fibers and protects your investment in long run, and by quickly cleaning up stains on your carpet or upholstery is a great way to keep them from becoming permanent and really reducing the value.
So by maintaining your car properly, just keeping things clean and in good order is a great way to protect your investment and have a great looking car everyday.
