Gary Uhl: Hello! My name is Gary Uhl with American Standard. Today I wanted to discuss the wide array of options that are available for a walk-in tub. Available options include Whirlpool jets, air-tub jets, and inline heater to keep the water warm and cozy all of the time. A premium faucet that fills quickly and a power drain that removes the water 8-times faster than a conventional drain. These are both important features because a person must get in and close the door before filling the tub and then wait till all of the water is drained away before they can open the door and exit. Other features may include Chromatherapy, Aromatherapy, and a neck pillow for comfort.
These are all things to consider when you're picking your walk-in tub. Remember to consider your needs, the installation, and your budget. The goal is to have a product that allows you to remain in home environment even in times of need.
