Jamie Page Deaton: Now let's talk about the seating in the Acura ZDX.

Now most car reviewers say that here in the front the seats are just adequate. There is simply isn't as much space as there is in other midsize SUVs. Now I am only about 5' 3'' and as you can see, my headroom is limited. Legroom is decent, but again, there is just not as much of it as you would find in the competition.

On the plus side, reviewers like how the driver's seat sits in an area that feels a lot like a cockpit. So that might appeal to drivers who are looking for a sporty feel to their SUV. Another plus is that you get a 10-way power adjustable driver seat standard on the ZDX and you also get a power adjustable steering wheel as well.

Now that you know about the front seats in the ZDX, let's talk about the back seats. Now our reviewers at least say that the front seats are adequate, they really complain about the back seats. There is simply not very much space back here. As I mentioned, I'm only about 5' 3'' and I really don't have very much headroom at all, it's uncomfortable and legroom isn't all that great either.

There are seats for three across but chances are you'll only be comfortable carrying two adults. There is also two sets of latch connectors, but because the seat is so cramped and also because the doors are so small, it might be more trouble than its worth to get kids in and out of the back of the ZDX.

So if you are looking for a kid-friendly SUV there are better options available. Still, the bottom line on the Acura ZDX's seating is reviewers simply aren't impressed with it. There's not a lot of space and it's not very practical for carrying a lot of people.
