Jamie Page Deaton: Test drivers really like how the Infinity EX drives. In fact they say it's one of the most fun to drive cars in its class. Before we take it for a spin, let's talk about its engine. The EX comes with a 3.
5 L V-6 Engine that makes it whopping 297 hp. It's one of the most powerful engines in the class and reviewers love it. They say it has tons of power for every situation. There's a 5 speed automatic transmission, that has a manual shift mode if you like shifting it yourself, but again, because it's an automatic, you don't want to shift, you don't have to.
Now what's really nice about the EX's engine, is even though that has all that power, its fuel economy is actually pretty good. According to the EPA you get 17 miles per gallon in the city, and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. Now you can't beat that fuel economy by going for one of the competition like, the Audi Q5 or the Acura RDX. But just know that both of those options have less power than the EX does. Now let's take the EX for a spin and see how it drives. If you take the Infinity EX out on a twisty road, you will see why most test drivers really love its driving dynamics, and with good reason. It's one of the most fun to drive cars in its class. One thing that's really nice about the Infinity EX is even though it has a really sporty way of handling, it doesn't have an uncomfortably harsh ride, it's actually comfortable enough for a long road trips and daily commutes. Most sporty cars, have a real harsh ride, so it's nice that the Infinity EX lets you have both fun on the road and let you be comfortable when you want to. Now All Wheel drive is available, but it does add the Infinity's base price. And of course, as we mentioned before, power delivery is really good in the EX. So the bottom line on how the Infinity EX drives is, it has got of lot of power and it's really fun on the road. But downside is it doesn't have the best fuel economy in the class. But if you're looking for a lot of power, that's probably a trade-off you're willing to make. If you want to learn more about the EX, check out other videos on it's Seating, Interior features, how it handles Cargo, and the other SUVs you'll want to consider.
