Jamie Page Deaton: Now let's talk about how the Infinity EX handles passengers in car seats; we'll start up here in the front. Most car reviewers really like the front seats in the EX. They say they're very supportive and comfortable, and there's plenty of room. Although a few reviewers do point out, that if you're especially tall, you may want more headroom, especially to go for the optional sunroof. Another nice feature is that leather upholstery is standard, and it's really nice soft leathers, so that's something really good to get for free. Also standard is a power adjustable driver seat and a power adjustable front passenger seat. However, if you upgrade to the journey trim like we have, you also get a power adjustable steering wheel, which is really nice for finding just the right driving position for you. Well most car viewers say that the front seats of the EX are really comfortable; they say the back seats are not comfortable at all. Now the problem is, because the EX has served a snoopy design, there is just not that much space back here. Now I am almost 5"4' and while I have fairly decent legroom, what have to remember is the driver seat right now is adjusted for me, so that's too short people, and they have enough space. But if you have a taller driver, the legroom is going to be decreased dramatically, and if you have a taller passenger it's going to be pretty uncomfortable for them. Now there are seat belts for three in the back seat, but most reviewers say, you're only going to be comfortable if you carry two passengers back here. Another downside of the back seat of the EX, is if you're trying to put car seats in here, because the back seat is so small, it's tough to get car seats in and out, plus once you have a car seat in, it'll be very easy for a kid to kick the back of your seat, but then again, the Infinity EX isn't really a family car. So the bottom line on the seating in the EX is the front seats are really comfortable, the back seats, not so much.
