Jamie Page Deaton: The Interior of the Infinity EX is one of its strongest points. In fact most car reviewers agree, that it's one of the most luxurious, upscale and high-tech interiors in the class. If you look at the overall design, it's very sophisticated and stylish, plus Infinity used great interior materials. They are very good looking, and they feel very nice to touch as well. Now with such a high-tech SUV, you might think that the controls would be a little bit confusing, but that's not the case with the EX. Even though you can get a lot of really advanced features, the controls are pretty easy to use, and that's because there's a lot of redundancies. There are controls on the steering wheel, controls on the dashboard, and a touch screen, so you can use features in the way that's most intuitive to you. On the base model, you get things like, Climate Control, Satellite Radio, and a USB Port. But if you really want to upgrade your EX you can. Now we have the journey model here which is the more upscale trim. Now when you go for the journey model, and the premium package like the one we have here, you get some really mind-blowing type features, like Infinity's around view camera system. It's like a rearview camera but instead of just showing you the area behind the car, it actually uses four sensors in cameras on each side of the car. What that does is it gives you a 360 view of the area around the EX, which is really great when you're parallel parking or doing some close quarter maneuvering. Other high-tech features you can get, a Bluetooth streaming audio. So even though there is a USB port and an iPod interface, you can stream music wirelessly from an MP3 player or other portable device. You also get Infinity's music box hard drive, so if you're playing a CD or you hear something on the radio, you can hear record and save that song, and just have it whenever you're driving around in the car. Another really nice feature is the navigation system. It's pretty easy to use, and in addition to telling you where restaurants are, that has the GATT ratings. So once you find the restaurant, you can actually tell if it's a good restaurant or not. Another nice feature, of course, is that the EX has Bluetooth, which is really great and a nice hands-free calling system. So the bottom line on the Interior of the Infinity EX is it's very stylish and luxurious, plus it's got easy to use high-tech features. Well, the base model is reasonably well-equipped. If you really want to go all out, go for the journey trim and start adding on packages, so you can get some really great features like the around view system.
