Jamie Page Deaton: Now let's talk about the interior features on a Mercedes-Benz GLK. As it turns out, reviewer opinions on the interior are really mixed. Some reviewers like that you get a lot of standard features on the base GLK, but other reviewers complain that the interior materials really aren't very nice and some of the optional features are really difficult to use.

Standard features on the GLK include things like Bluetooth and dual-zone climate control. While the Bluetooth is really nice to have, we noticed in our tests that it was a little bit difficult to pair a phone with it. In fact, I was using just my iPhone to pair it and it took more tries to get it done correctly than in any other SUV that we've tested. There is one optional feature that a lot of reviewers say that you may want to watch out for and that's the Command System.

The Command System in the GLK controls the navigation and entertainment systems and it's pretty difficult to use. It uses one knob to toggle between options and to change radio stations or to enter new destinations. It has a really high learning curve and so while you may get used to it, it could take a while.

So the bottom-line on the interior of the GLK is reviewers complain about the materials, saying they're really not nice enough, others complain about the Command System, saying it's difficult to learn. But, at least you get some nice standard features with the base model.
