Just keep in mind that few of them will be able to match the Outlander's long warranty coverage. If you are buying the Outlander for its sporty drive, you should check out the Volkswagen Tiguan.

Well, the Tiguan starts at about $2000 more than the base Outlander does, reviewers love its performance, plus, since reviewers complain about the performance on the base Outlander, you may actually save money by going with the Tiguan. The Tiguan also comes with more interior features and nicer interior materials than the Outlander does.

The downside is the Tiguan can't match the Outlander when it comes to interior space. If you need seating for seven, you should check out the Toyota RAV4. Though it starts at about $1000 more than the base Outlander does, it also has an optional third row seat and available seating for up to seven.

The RAV4 also matches the Outlander when it comes to cargo space, and has a nicer interior. As an added bonus, it also gets slightly better fuel economy. Still the bottom line on the Outlander is if you need seating for seven, want long warranty coverage and a sporty ride, the Outlander makes a good choice.
