While some companies build SUVs that are great around town the Grand Cherokee can handle carpool and air duty and keep doing when the road ends. After bouncing back from financial problems and a rough period in Jeep history, the latest Grand Cherokee is supposed to be one of the company's strongest products yet. It's also more fun on the highway, the added power will cost you about $2000 more than the V6 and you will end up paying more at the pump too because fuel economy on the V8 is worst than the V6.

Although, most true off roading vehicle are exactly the most cultural on pavement, the Jeep Grand Cherokee does it's best to bridge the gap. Most reviewers say that the base suspension is pretty good, but if you have the extra dollars you probably should opt for the optional air suspension.

What's cool about the air suspension is it has five different modes depending on the situation you may be in. For example, if you are doing some off roading, you can raise the suspension up high so you can clear obstacles that might be in your way like rocks or something like that. But if you are on the highway, you can lower the car so it's more aerodynamic and gets better fuel economy. This gives the Grand Cherokee a lot of flexibility as opposed to say a fix suspension off roading car that will have worst fuel economy and it will also kind of be a little bit hard to get in and out of.

So what should you know about the Jeep Grand Cherokee? Well, it's a mid-size SUV that's trying to bridge the gap between on and off-road performance. With the expanding amount of crossovers on the market, this jeep is made with twelve happy buyers in mind.

Well the Grand Cherokee doesn't offer third row or acres of cargo room; it does have a handsome interior, that's probably the nicest in its class.
