Anna Reeves: Today, we are making peanut butter chocolate squares. Our first step is to spray down our pan so that our peanut butter chocolate squares don't stick. After that we are going to melt down one cup of butter on the stove top.
Our next step is to crush up about 16 gram crackers in a Ziploc bag and this a very fun part for kids. So what you want is to break these crumbs down into tiny little pieces.
Once you have your crumbs all crushed down, we are then going to mix up all of our ingredients together. In goes the crumbs, one cup of melted butter, one cup of peanut butter, about three-and-a-half cups of confectioner's sugar. We are going to mix it all up. This is going to be so yummy.
Our next step is to put it in our baking pan, and then you are going to press it down with your spoon. Our next step will be to melt one and a half cups of milk chocolate morsels in a glass bowl over sauce pan of water, putting it over low heat.
You are then going to very carefully spread it over the top, making sure that it's an even coating of chocolate. Now we're going to place it in the refrigerator for about half an hour to harden it up. And have fun making peanut butter chocolate squares.
