Sean Miller: Recycling is one of the easiest and simplest ways to go green. Recycling can be as much as 90% more efficient than using a new product. As we create more and more products it make sense to reuse what we've already generated, because it helps save the planet in the process but it also helps the bottom line whether it's the business that we are talking about or the community or your own wallet.

Recycling in many states of this country offers a rebate and I encourage you to check out what your state offers, where to recycle, what can be recycled and how to do it. Did you know that you can recycle almost anything?

Well, we know about the traditional products like plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, magazines; what about that old car battery, tires, used motor oil, paint, all of those things and more can be recycled.

Recycling is also a great way to engage your kids and even your community members in going green. You can setup bins whether it's in your community or at your home that are specific to either glass, paper, you name it and you can all work together to help improve your community, improve the planet and also save a little bit of money in the end.
