Transcripts
Steve Kidera: Looking back at the 2011 holiday season, one thing that we're going to remember it's going to be a computing holiday with laptops leading the way. Netbooks, these have been out for a couple of years now, prices keep coming down. You can get a Netbook this holiday under $200. What's great about Netbooks, they're small, portable, easy to take from place to place. They're basically like a laptop but without some of the bells and whistles like a CD or DVD drive.
I am looking at laptop or notebook computers, a lot of options to take into consideration; various price points, very low, $300 and up. Also what's really cool this holiday, thin is in. A lot of thin notebook laptops that you'll see on the market, not only are these really thin and easy to take from place to place, but they're cool too. Trust me; your friends will love them. Also battery life becoming more and more of a purchasing factor and rightfully so; you can get laptops with batteries of 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 hours which is really great for those of us that are working a lot and traveling a lot at the same time to keep that battery going all day long.
So remember, when you're buying a laptop this holiday season, you really can't go wrong at any price point. Chances are, someone on your wish-list is going to want one and be very, very happy, no matter what you get them.
