John Basedow: Hey guys, John Basedow here. Cyber Monday! What an awesome day for savings but a horrible day for your fitness program. However, I'm going to change all that today and show you a way you can maximize those savings while minimizing weight gain. To start off with, we're not going to get you crazy here, but in between making those high level deals, just have a couple of free weights available, but you can simply do maybe alternate dumbbell curls. You can also do military presses for the shoulders, and if you want to get really crazy, you can actually get out of your chair and do some stress relieving stretches in between super savings.
In addition to that, remember, this is a day when you're probably not going to eat great. So what do I always say at the end of the day, fat gain is a mathematical event. So if you're not burning awful lot of calories, you do not want to over-spend in nutrition area, because that will send you in the debtors' prison or add pounds to your waistline. Instead, what I say to do is eat more cleanly this day or practice a natural day; avoid process foods, things in a box, bag or wrapper. If it's made by man, you don't want to put it in your mouth. You'll be surprised at how much better you feel and how much less weight you gain from those types of foods.
And finally, last tip is 75% of the time that we feel we're hungry, we're actually just dehydrated. So have a glass of water around. It will keep you from having those crazy binges that will add pounds to your waistline. There you go guys! Some tips to maximize your savings while minimizing weight gain on Cyber Monday.
