Green Clean LLC, founded in 2004 by Loren LaVoy is a professional residential and commercial cleaning company that uses only non-toxic and environmentally friendly products and cleaning methods. Many cleaning companies both large and small focus only on cleaning but not on the long term affect such cleaning has on the environment or on the welfare of humans and pets . Because the health of their clients and partners is important to Green Clean LLC they do not use chlorine products, ammonia or other harsh chemicals. Each cleaning is specifically designed to accommodate the special needs of each client. The company has grown from just Loren to a staff of 14 trained professional cleaning crew members, along with 3 full time office staff. We have also expanded our area of service to include all of the DC metropolitan area, and Baltimore. Plans are currently in the works to expand our services throughout the Northeastern seaboard. Loren LaVoy was raised near Lake Placid, in New York's Adirondack Mountains, and spent his childhood swimming in pristine rivers and breathing clean air. As a professed lover of the outdoors he says that his inborn affinity for nature led him to lean green when starting a professional cleaning company.

Welcome back. I am Loren LaVoy, founder of the Green Cleaning Company, and today we are talking about green cleaning your bathroom, and our very next step is green cleaning the shower. When we first started, I sprayed down the entire shower, and reminded you that we need to be working from top to bottom. This dirt falls, dust falls, and there's no reason to work against gravity. So, what we are going to do is we are going to start at the top, spray just a little extra, make sure to get the soap dish -- and Ill set this off to the side, I am spraying down the entire wall, because even though I am not working on that surface at the moment, it will be working for me. Next, using my white scrubby pad to do most of the work for me -- I am going to work from top to bottom, and left to right, so I dont repeat anything. Making sure you get to the little corners of the soap dish, and that looks like I am going to need my tight corner brush there, to really get the edges. Next, I am going to use my wiper cloth. Now, green secret about the wiper cloth, a lot of companies will come out of your home after cleaning it, or you yourself, and will have two garbage bags filled with paper towels. We use washable, wiper cloths. These are actually diapers that didnt make the grade for diapers, so, they have a couple of benefits to them. One benefit is that they are essentially recycled, because they are not going directly into the waste stream. Another benefit is, they are washable and reusable, so we are not throwing them away, saving trees and all, and they have a lot more surfaces, and are a lot more durable. I have a surface here, a surface here, I can fold it over, I have a surface there, and there; of course I can fold it over again and create a whole new set of clean surfaces. So if I have one surface thats already wet, I can fold it and get a brand new surface for polishing and wiping. So, thats your little -- not dirty little clean secret. Let's make this crown really shine for this home owner. In fact, I think I'll even cheat a little bit and use a microfiber. Thank you for joining us in the shower. How many people can you see I have been in the shower with? I am Loren LaVoy, and next, we are going to talk about the floor. So far we've been wiping everything to the floor, top to bottom, and now we've got to deal with the dirtiest part.
