Sherry Tyra: Sometimes the big game can feel like an unofficial holiday. Make your party extra special with these fun and easy tips. Plan your party around your team's colors. Start by using a football field tablecloth, complete with yard lines as a backdrop for all your party delights. I have created a fun and easy centerpiece by using an inflatable footballs and pom-poms. I started with a bowl that I purchased at second-hand shop, I filled it with Styrofoam and glued on the football and inserted the pom-poms. Pennants in your team's colors create a festive atmosphere whether adorning the room or adding a fun touch to team inspired cup cakes. Pre-made pennants could be purchased from your local party store or you can easily create your own in your team's colors by using construction paper and yarn. Football shape serving bowls and tableware in your team's colors also capture the team spirit. These footballs dispensers are great way to serve small candies or nuts. This goalpost cooler is fun and an unexpected addition to your party. It not only captures the essence of the game, it also allows easy access to beverages for your guests. With a little imagination, you can support your team and enjoy the excitement of the game without ever living your home.
