Dan Henry: Hi! I am Dan with The Tailgating Pros, showing you how to throw a proper tailgate party. Right now, we are going to talk about how to deal with the elements. Weve got four basic elements, heat, cold, rain, and wind, and its sometimes or another, youre going to have to deal with it.
So, I've got a couple of products here, that I think are going to help you out, plus a couple of tips. In September, when the season starts, you need a baseball hat, some sunblock, and some sunglasses, you've got be ready for the heat, and you dont want that Sun beating down on you.
Now, eventually, September is going to give way to October, where youre going to need some sweaters. You just remember you want to dress in layers; you can always take a layer off if you get too hot. And then you've got November and December, and we all know what happens there. We all dont live in Florida or California, so, youre going to need a stocking cap, gloves and a scarf, and whatever else you could possibly get on because nobody has a good time when they are cold.
Now, lets face this, its not always going to be a perfect weather either. So, if its rainy day out, nobody better out there knows how to deal with that being golf, so you have some lightweight, rain gear fits over your clothes, keeps you dry. Nobody has a good time when they are wet, so make sure you stay dry.
Another thing, its real cold and windy, there's a Gortex Pullover that golfers use. It stops the wind, you dont even feel it, it keeps you nice and warm, I highly recommend this.
And thats how we deal with the elements.
