Transcripts
John Basedow: The fitness world seems infinite, but there are really three major areas to focus on, nutrition, exercise and supplements. I'm going to give you three easy tips to master all three areas.
First, nutrition is by far the first and most important area of fitness to focus on. Everyone hates the word diet, so the solution is simple. Let's call it a nutrition plan for you eat more not less. That's right, eat 4-6 small meals a day, the key idea is to mix all three macro nutrients, fats, proteins and carbohydrates at each meal.
When it comes to exercise you don't have to spend hours a day in the weight room to get the body you're dreaming of. You just have to train smarter not harder. Weight training is essential but the keywords should be short and intense sessions.
The smartest, easiest thing you can do is morning cardio. Blood sugar and insulin levels are lowest in the morning when your stomach is empty, so that's the perfect environment for burning fat.
Finally, in regard to supplements remember supplements are not substitutes for eating right and exercising. However, when added in combination to a healthy diet and a simple exercise routine, supplements can help maximize your gym and kitchen efforts.
With these simple tips you'll be able to master all the areas of fitness.
