Hi, I am Josh Dubois and today we are showing you how to make some shots. The first shot we are going to make is an Alabama Slammer; now to make an Alabama Slammer, you are going to need SoCo or Southern Comfort, you are going to need sloe gin, you are going to need Amaretto and you are going to need some orange juice.
Now the mixture of this drink is two parts SoCo, one part Amaretto, one part sloe gin, one part Amaretto and two parts OJ. Today we are going to making three shots because you never take shots alone. So, you are going to fill up your mixer glass about two thirds of the way with ice, you are going to take two parts of SoCo. So in this case, I am going to be making three shots and I am going to be putting two ounces of SoCo in; one, two, three, four; I am going to be putting one ounce of sloe gin, one, two; one ounce of Amaretto, one, two, and top it off with a little bit of OJ, about two ounces.
Next, cap, shake and strain. You are going to use a strainer, or you are going to just strain just like this. That is how you make an Alabama Slammer. The next shot we are going to make is a B-52.
