How to Make Shots - Pumpkin Pie Shot

Hi, I am Josh Dubois and today, I am showing you how to make a bunch of different kinds of shots. Right now, I am going to show you how to make a shot that's really great for Halloween, and Thanksgiving time and it s called the Pumpkin Pie. This is a layered shot, most of it s layered, but we re not going to layer quite all of it.

First, what we are going to layer is, the Kahlua. We use equal parts of kahlua, baileys and tequila for the Pumpkin Pie. What you are going to do is put the Kahlua on the bottom, because it s the heaviest and next you are going to take the baileys and it s kind of harder layer, but what you want to do to cheat it is, push it like this tilt it and then just sort of lay the baileys on top there. You can do it as slow as you want. Here we go, just laying it right on top there, and you can see, I used a little bit more of the kahlua than the baileys, and that's fine. I like to use a little bit more of the kahlua in these layer shots even though I say equal parts is just a guideline. I use a little bit more kahlua because I think it tastes a little better.

Then the last but not the least, you re going to put tequila on top. Now, this is the hardest one, and this is really the least important to your layer, because you already have the really cool layered effect and that s really all people are going to be paying attention to.

So, just air it so slightly, pour your tequila on top, like you can see there, that usually happens, the tequila kind of mix in with the baileys. They are really similar as far as their weights, so, they mix a lot easier. It s not really that important, still it s cool.

So, next, what you are going to do, is you are going to take cinnamon, and this is where the fun really comes in. At home, turn off the lights when you do this, because this is really cool. You are not only going to be able to see it that well here because we have to leave the lights on, but what you do is just light a fire, and sprinkle cinnamon in, and it flames up like that. Then you take the shot with the cinnamon on top, and that's how you make a Pumpkin Pie. It s a great Halloween or Thanksgiving treat. Next, we re going to show you how to make a Surfer On Acid.
