Hi, I am Josh Dubois and today I am showing you how to make a bunch of different kinds of shots. The next shot that I will be showing you how to make is a Washington Apple.

Actually, this one that we are going to be making is going to be called an Apple Jack, and I ll tell you the difference between a Washington Apple and Apple Jack and they are very, very small. The difference is simply the whiskey that you use.

An Apple Jack uses Jack Daniels, a Washington Apple uses Crown Royal. So, today we will show you how to make the Apple Jack, really similar drinks.

First, you want to take your shaker glass, fill it about halfway with ice, you don t need to fill it all the way with ice, halfway will do. Next you re going to be using equal parts Apple Pucker, Jack Daniels and Cranberry juice.

Now some bars, they do use Cranberry Apple Juice for the actual Washington Apple, but Cranberry juice will work just fine because most places don t have Cranberry Apple in their inventory, in their guns or in their homes. So, this is Cranberry juice, Cranberry juice is much more likely to be found around a bar.

So, equal parts, and this actually equates out to just a little bit over an ounce of each, for filling about two two-ounce glasses. So, one, two, just over an ounce of Cranberry juice, a little bit more, just for a measure.

Now, tap it with the shaker tin, flip it, give it a good shake and strain into your shot glasses. That s how you make an Apple Jack or a Washington Apple. Next we are going to be showing you how to make SoCo and Lime shots.
