Hi, I am Josh Dubois I have been a professional bartender for five years and today I am going to show you how to make a Margarita. Every bartender in the world needs to know to make a Margarita. It s a really fun drink to make at parties and what not. I am going to show you how to make different types of Margaritas based on the game plan for making any and all Margaritas and that is tequila, triple sec, lime juice and sour. So, basically what you are going to want to do is you are going to want to take a glass, your mixing glass, fill with ice fill it to the brim.

You want to do this if you are making your margarita on the rocks or if you are making a frozen margarita. Next thing you want to do is you want to pour your tequila in, you want to pour in two ounces of tequila or a four count or a shot glass worth of tequila. One& . two& . three& . four& . tequila. Next, you want to put in one ounce of triple sec, one, two and you want to top it off with sour.

You want to leave your self a little room there and I have probably used around four ounces of sour mix. You want to put a little bit of lime in there and this will be any store bought margarita mix. The next thing is I want to show you couple of different variations that you can do on the Margarita.

Now one, you can add a little grenadine, grenadine is going to have sort of it cherry or strawberry taste. You could also add strawberry schnapps, or if you want to peach tasting Margarita, add peach schnapps. At this step you can add any schnapps or any flavor, fruit drink that you want to create a mix and match any type of margarita. So, we are just going to make a plain margarita today. Next thing that you are going to do, cap it with a shaker tin. This is when you are doing this to make a on the rocks, Margarita.

Take it, shake it up, pop the top and pour it straight in to the cup. That is an on the rocks, margarita. But we are not going to keep that today what we are going to do is we are going to make a frozen margarita. So you basically you take your on the rocks margarita and you wouldn t have to strain or you wouldn t to have to shake it beforehand, you could have just poured it straight from your mixing cup into the blender.

Keep it there turn your blender on chop, after you put the lid on of course and after it s blended for right around a minute. The next thing you can do is you can take your lime that you are going to garnish it with, run it around outside of the glass, around the lip of the glass, just getting a little limejuice on the glass. Take your glass turn it upside down, stick in the salt to get that nice salted rim. Next, take your Margarita mix dump in the middle not to disturb the salt. Add your lime as the garnish and take a straw. A real nice little trick to do is to pull the straw out so it s not all the way down leaving a about an inch and half of space, twist it around and let it kind of curly Q, and serve it like that and that is how you make a Margarita.

fresh squeezed lime juice and home made SS mix? not in my bar when i'm three deep with customers, friend. save the top shelf 'ritas for when you have time to spare and aren't making multiple orders. :D

This is the straight forward, boring, conventional, unexciting way to make a margarita. Where's the fresh squeezed lime juice? And store-bought sour mix?! Come on!If you want your friends to laugh at you when hosting your next party, make your margaritas this way.
