Hi, I am Josh Dubois and today we have been making vodka drinks. So, right now, I m going to show you how to make the White Russian. Now, the White Russian has recently come back into popularity due to mainly because of the Big Lebowski, that was the drink that he drank for the entire movie and we are going to show you how to make a delicious one right now. It is a really, really great cocktail for socializing at your parties. It is kind of a sipping drink because it has a lot of alcohol in it. So, you don t want to start off with a rocks glass and you don t want to fill it to the top with ice.
Next, what you are going to want to do is, you are going to want to take vodka and you are going to want to put two ounces of vodka or the equivalent of a shot glass worth of vodka in and that is going to be a four count of vodka with your poured on. So, you are going to go, one, two, three, four, lot of vodka in this drink, that s why it s a sipping drink. Then you are going to put one ounce or two count of kahlua in, one, two. Now, kahlua is a nice coffee flavored liquor and it tastes kind of like chocolate. So, this tastes kind of like a little bit of a chocolate milk. After you add the cream or half and half if you like, whatever you want, you can also add milk. Now, there s no specific measurement for the cream. What you want to do is keep it right around one and a half ounces of milk, but really, you just want to top it off. So, there is the White Russian and you get the nice coloring and I don t usually shake it, but you can shake it if you like. It looks a little bit more creamy and chocolaty when you do that but I like serving it like this and allowing the guest to stir it with their straw. So, that s how you make a White Russian. Next, we are going to be making a Bloody Mary.
