Hi, I am Josh Dubious. Today, we are making vodka drinks. Right now, I am going to show you how to make a Vodka Gimlet. Now, you can do this drink with both gin and vodka and it s pretty much the same either way. Today, we are going to be doing it with Vodka. What you are going to do is you are going to be serving this drink in either a rocks glass or you can also serve it in a chilled martini glass, depends on who is ordering and what you think you might want to serve it in.

But what we are going to do is we are going to take ice and fill up our mixing glass of ice and then you are going to put two ounces of vodka in this drink. Now, this drink is pretty much straight vodka when it comes down to it. That s the only actual liquid that you are going to be putting in the drink. So, you are going to put a four count of vodka in or a shot glasses worth, that s two ounces and next, you are going to be putting in one ounce of lime juice. So, you are going to fill up this thing about half way with lime juice, put that in. Next, this is optional, you can or you can just choose to withhold from this step if you like, but just one tablespoon of powdered sugar and what you should probably do is you should probably ask your client or your friend or whoever your making for if they actually want the powdered sugar in there because some people really want it in there, some people don t. Next, take your shaker tin, put it over the top, shake away. You want to make sure that that powdered sugar gets nice and dissolved into the drink so that they are not chewing up the crunchy powdered sugar. Next, you take your glass of choice, either your rocks glass or your martini glass. So, strain the drink, it is nice and shake, it has got a nice color to it and you get it right there into your rocks glass or your glass of choice and you are going to garnish this with a lime and serve. That is how you make a Vodka Gimlet. Next, we are going to show you how to make a Mind Eraser.
